The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum is designed to treat acne and allow skin to heal. This body acne treatment helps to give clearer, smoother-looking skin.

The formula offers surface-level exfoliation through the inclusion of 0.5% salicylic acid, which helps to encourage the natural shedding of dead skin. Salicylic acid benefits for skin include its lipophilic nature, which means it can penetrate pores to control acne blemishes, while also improving the appearance of redness associated with acne.

Tested specifically for use on the body, this salicylic acid body serum has a nozzle applicator that allows for precise dispensation of the formula to target specific areas of acne.

Directions

• Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product
• Apply to body and rub in with hands if needed
• Allow the product to dry
• Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor
• If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day
• If eye contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water.
• Patch testing prior to use is advised: Apply the product as directed to a small area once a day for three days to test if you are sensitive to this product.
